Summers.....Avoid Black ???

On a warm summer day, you can immediately feel the difference when you wear dark-colored clothing instead of a light-colored outfit. The temperature outside may be exactly the same, but the darker fabric feels hotter than the lighter fabric. This is especially true with black objects. Sunlight hitting any black object causes that object to feel hotter than objects of another shade or color.
I think most of you  wonder what is the reason behind it?

Well no need to worry, here we are to set your minds at rest.......

One reason for this occurrence is black objects absorb more sunlight than lighter colored objects.

As seasons change, you may notice fashions available in stores lean heavily towards certain colors. White dominates the summer months and black makes up many winter wardrobes. These color choices are not always based on trends, but rather on long-standing scientific observations.

White is cool

·White fabric is used in summer clothing because white reflects all wavelengths of light rather than absorbing them. The sun's hot, fast-moving ultraviolet light is also transmitted in waves. White reflects the light's heat and keeps a substance cool.

Black is hot
·Black fabric is often used in winter clothing because the black substances absorb all wavelengths of light rather than reflecting them. More light absorbed results into more heat attracted by the substance.
· Sunlight has a unique interaction with black objects. When we see colors in nature and elsewhere, it is actually reflected wavelengths of light. When all light is absorbed, there is no color, and only black remains. Absorbing all sunlight makes black objects trap more heat and become warmer more quickly than any other object.

Uses of this Scientific Phenomenon

·Ancient peoples living in dry, hot climates before the invention of air conditioning wore white or light clothing to keep themselves cool. Conversely, people living in cloudy, snowy regions learned to wear dark clothes in order to harvest heat from little sunlight.
Then what should we wear in summers?

Light colors such us white, yellow, light green etc. are the best colors to wear in summer. The reason why light colors because light colors reflect the light.
If you wear dark colored clothes, the light will go in. It's science! .
